certification under DBDS System Release 1.2.8 for nCUBE’s Client
version 1.0.25 and nAble version 1.0 Build 42 (VOD Server), with the
following qualifications:
nCUBE does not currently
utilize Scientific Atlanta’s implementation of the service groups
functionality. nCUBE is instead, employing auto discovery of service
groups by the set-top. Potential DBDS problems when using nCUBE's
application are:

If the DNCS is stopped and restarted, the nCUBE headend process
(HE) on the VOD Server must also be stopped and restarted to
re-establish proper synchronization. This could lead to billing errors
if not handled appropriately.

During the certification test process, no more than 9 sessions
could be reliably set up on a single QAM.
