Scientific Atlanta Foundation
Grant Application Guidelines
Scientific Atlanta Foundation concentrates its support on
programs that address key issues and concerns in communities
where the company has major operations and where its
employees live and work. Proposals submitted by
organizations recognized as tax-exempt under section
501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code and targeted
to the following focus areas may be considered.
- Education
Improving education, particularly in the areas of science,
math and technology, is a top priority for Scientific
Atlanta Foundation. By committing resources to
education, we can help address some of society’s
greatest education challenges and better prepare the
next generation for personal and professional success.
- Health & Human Services
Scientific Atlanta Foundation understands the well-being
of the company depends directly on the health of the
communities in which we do business. To that end, grants
are made to community based organizations whose
objectives are to alleviate some of the health and human
service related problems we face.
- Civic Infrastructure
Programs that build social and economic stability and
contribute to making a community an attractive place to
live are important to Scientific Atlanta Foundation.
Support is concentrated on programs that expand
individual potential and encourage appreciation of arts,
culture and environmental sustainability.
